The goal of student’s research is to develop and deepen the knowledge of the students, the ability to solve professional problems on their own and to contribute to solving parts of the science assignments, or eventually to allow chosen students to partake in pedagogical activities of the department. It is a voluntary student activity and an individual form of work with the scientific-pedagogical board.

There are two options for Student’s research for students of the Military Medicine Faculty

• Scientific body – its activity is based on contributing to the solutions of scientific assignments or solving partial problems individually.
• Pedagogical body – its activity is based on pedagogical work and the preparation and realization of different forms of the educational system.

In this case, the student pledges (as a part of the scientific or pedagogical body) to complete a specific extent of work and to present his or her results at scientific conferences of the faculties. For successful work in the Student’s research, the student is paid scholarship according to the regulations every month. The amount depends on the results. It can be altered through the year by workers of the department.

New additions to the scientific and pedagogical bodies are accepted via a selection procedure. The conditions and registration forms of this selection procedure and individual assignments are announced every year in October on the website of Military Medicine Faculty.
